Nike will drop another pair of shoes — this time drawing inspiration from the weather — before December comes, through Kevin Durant's KD7 line.

According to Complex, Nike is ready to release the newest colorway on Nov. 25, Tuesday — sporting the color combo Cave Purple/Hyper Grape/Magnet Grey/Bleached Turquoise with  "Lightning 534".

"The newest colorway of the KD7 pays tribute to New York City's electricity and the unique lightning rod on Fifth Avenue and 34th Street, where a purple hue often radiates from the sky during lightning strikes," said Nike.com, where it will be available for $150 at a limit of one per person beginning 8 a.m. EST (5 a.m. PST).

The colorway will also be available at select stores on the same day. According to Foot Locker Unlocked, it will be on Footlocker.com and House of Hoops by Foot Locker. Visit its Launch Locator for specific locations.

On Nike.com and in some retail stores, it will be available in sizes 8-12, 13 and 14, and will be offered in full family sizing — grade school (3.5Y - 7Y) is at $115; pre-school (10.5c - 3Y), $75; and toddler (2c-10c), $55.

The shoe's specific inspiration is the moment when lightning strikes the lightning rod on top of New York City's famous Empire State Building, Complex said. The event occurs on an average of 25 times annually, said Nike News.

The number "534" is a twist on the building's address, at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 34th Street, Complex added, noting that it metaphorically refers to Durant's "love affair" with the Big Apple and the way people play basketball there.

"The KD7 'Lightning 534' is the latest weather-themed colorway, inspired by Kevin Durant's personal interest in meteorological phenomenon," the Nike News report also noted. Durant's line is usually inspired by things and events close to his heart.

While the hues of purple dominating the skin of the shoes represent a purple sky, the graphic patterns on the outsole and the Nike Swoosh are from weather symbols, the report added.

"Durant hopes to bring his lightning back to New York in January when the Thunder are scheduled to play in the city," said the report. According to the Oklahoma City Thunder website, the team is scheduled to meet the New York Knicks in a 7 p.m. game at Madison Square Garden.

"Kevin Durant relishes the spotlight in NYC," Sneaker News explained. "His game turns up a notch under the bright lights of Madison Square Garden, and we all know what he's capable when he laces up on a blacktop (66 at the Rucker, anyone?)." In a game in Rucker Park, Harlem, he dropped 66 points in 2011.

"[K]eep this for the ladys... and even some of them may not even like these," said one of the comments on Sneaker News, however. On Tuesday, we will know if he's right.
