The iconic T-Rex in the previous "Jurassic Park" films is bound to return in the sci-fi franchise's fourth installment.

The official "Jurassic World" interactive website recently revealed photos of the menacing predators featured in the fictional dinosaur theme park. One of them is the Tyrannosaurus Rex or T-Rex, which fought off a pack of velociraptors in the climax of the first film--unintentionally saving the movie's protagonists.

An Imgur user claimed that the dinosaur in the "Jurassic World" website is exactly what the audience saw before in the past films by focusing on one specific detail. Take a look at the photo of the T-Rex below to spot it.

The severe scarring on the neck of the dinosaur in the photo corresponds to almost the exact same location of the T-Rex's slash wounds when it struggled with a raptor in the first movie. The Imgur screencaps show how the two dinosaurs fought with each other. Check out the images here and here to see how the velociraptor inflicted deep wounds into the bigger dinosaur's neck.

It's still unknown how the infamous T-Rex will play a major part in the upcoming "Jurassic World" film, but Inquisitr suggests that "it may face off against the genetically modified dinosaur set to cause havoc in the park." The hybrid dinosaur called Diabolus Rex or D-Rex is the main feature of the movie.

According to Inquisitr, Director Colin Trevorrow confirmed early on that a T-Rex will appear in "Jurassic World," as it is the franchise's most well-known dinosaur.

As for the interactive website, Screencrush reports that it reflects the film's tagline: "The park is open." It will give you all the information you need about the fictional dinosaur theme park, including schedules, park attractions, and how to plan your visit.

"The main page fills you in on daily events and schedules, like what time you can expect to see the Mosasaurus feeding from the trailer-that's the scary aquatic dino that leapt out and ate the shark," Screencrush noted. "The site also lets you know about guided tours and cruises, and expected wait times for all the attractions. When you poke around, you can find info on how to plan your visit, get a 'Raptor Pass,' and view the park map and park cam," the news outlet adds.

"Jurassic World" is slated to be released in theaters on June 12, 2015. It stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer, Vincent D'Onofrio, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, and BD Wong, "who reprises his character Dr. Wu from the very first film," CNET reports.
