Aside from the rumored 12-inch MacBook Air Retina, Apple could be launching a revamped MacBook Pro early this year. Following Intel's release of 28-watt Broadwell-U parts, The Motley Fool is convinced that a "refresh" of the 13-inch MacBook Pro would be coming soon.

The outlet believed that the new laptop would arrive by the end of this year's first quarter, alongside the Retina-packed MacBook Air. In 2014, we've seen the unwrapping of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, Retina iMacs and every Apple thing in between -- are we bound to see upgraded laptops this time?

Interestingly, the report coincides with KDramaStars' note, which cited speculations geared towards an April 2015 release. Recalling information from Cyberland, the outlet noted that Apple is determined in branding the 2015 MacBook Pro as "the fastest one yet." However, it is unclear whether Apple intended the model to become fastest among all Macs, or only among the MacBook Pros.

The Motley Fool went on to predict the arrival of a 15-inch MacBook Pro, referring to the "mid-2015" release of 45-watt Broadwell parts. According to the source, the processor is set to power the upcoming laptop, along with another type reportedly cited by the VR-Zone.

Macworld is convinced that the Cupertino giant will be launching the updated MacBook Pro at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference. The event is expected to happen in June.

Broadwell processors should reportedly offer increased battery life and 4K display. The source is hopeful that quad-core processors are maintained for the 15-inch MacBook Pro.

In terms of RAM, Macworld believed that the 13-inch MacBook Pro retains 8 GB, while the 15-inch version stays with 16 GB.

When it comes to the 2015 MacBook Pro's features, Gotta Be Mobile took note of the Touch ID's possible inclusion. Although it acknowledged that the security feature is "mainly" a mobile thing, the source felt confident that the system will make its way to the rumored laptop.

The above outlet also believed that the laptop may be "slimmed" by Apple, packing a new USB port similar to the MacBook Air's rumored type.

With all these information, it looks like 2015 will be another favorable year for Apple. And don't forget about the rest of the company's rumored devices -- the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPod touch 6G and iPad Pro / iPad Air Plus -- are all expected before 2016.

What do you want to see in this year's MacBooks?
