According to recent reports, updates for Android's latest operating system have finally arrived to a number of devices. Check them out below.

LG G2 & LG G3

To begin with, LG G2 users can now get a taste of Android 5.0.1 Lollipop, Customs Today reported. As told by the outlet, a leaked screenshot has appeared to confirm the OS version's presence for build number LRX21Y.

However, this information may best be taken with a pinch of salt. The source warned that the screenshot has been leaked from another LG G2 model, F320L. This model is known to be a South Korean LTE-A version of the handset.

In the meantime, AndroidPIT noted that LG G3 units under AT&T and Sprint are now eligible to download the OTA update. Verizon and T-Mobile customers may still have to wait, but the outlet is convinced that "it surely can't be far off."

The much-later flagship has received Lollipop since late 2014, though only in South Korea.

Moto X 2014

Motorola has announced that Android 5.0.2 Lollipop is being seeded to US Cellular's Moto X 2014, Android Origin said. As the outlet put it, some believed that the carrier's customers are lucky after getting a direct update -- skipping bug-infested experiences from earlier versions.

Samsung Galaxy S5

At present, network carriers Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile are distributing Lollipop among Galaxy S5 users, Android Origin wrote in another report. The update for the later Galaxy Note 4 is still expected to arrive soon.

According to Android Community, T-Mobile has not explicitly announced Lollipop's arrival to the Galaxy S5. Nevertheless, the update is expected to come OTA with a 1-GB space requirement.

Nexus Devices

Citing information from HTC's Mo Versi, Android Geeks reported that Android 5.1 Lollipop will come to the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and other supported devices in March. Originally shipping with Lollipop, the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are expected to get the update much earlier.

The outlet went on to indicate that the update may not offer new features, considering that it's aimed to fix bugs and provide general improvement in performance.

The Gospel Herald specifically noted that the update comes "early March."

Samsung Galaxy Note 3

The Galaxy Note 3 is also getting Lollipop, though in the form of a custom build. International Business Times stumbled upon a new Audax L firmware for Samsung's 2013 phablet, and the file may be downloaded here.

Note that flashing custom firmwares include very technical procedures that are best exercised with caution. The Latino Post will not be responsible for any untoward encounters that may arise on your end. That said, official updates are recommended.

OTA (Over-The-Air) updates are automatic notifications that require proper execution of instructions for successful installation. Users uncertain about their Android device's update status can manually check by going to Settings > About Device > System Updates > Check Now.

Initially announced for roll-out on Nov. 3, the Android 5.0 Lollipop takes pride with its Material Design, improved notification system and intuitive user experience, among other features.
