AT&T has confirmed the arrival of Android 5.0 Lollipop on its Samsung Galaxy S5 models, Gotta Be Mobile reported. The announcement was made on Twitter in response to an inquiry.

The carrier said, "We're working on the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Stay tuned: blogs.att.net/consumerblog."

In another report, GBM noted that Galaxy S5 users under Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile have already received the Lollipop upgrade. As for the Galaxy Note 4, it's been said that only T-Mobile has confirmed software upgrade thus far.

Samsung has rolled out Lollipop among Galaxy S4 models (Russia) late in January, The Christian Times noted.

As told by the outlet, U.S. users can expect the update soon, if Samsung does the same approach as it did with the Galaxy S5. Galaxy S4 models in India have received the update shortly after Russia.

The updated Android 5.0.2 Lollipop has arrived for AT&T's Moto X 2014, International Business Times wrote. The firmware comes with build number 22.21.34, available to download over-the-air (OTA).

Aside from the celebrated Material Design, intelligent notification ranking, Smart Lock and screen pinning, the Moto X 2014 5.0.2 update brings continued Moto Ambient Display feature, new flashlight option (Quick Settings), new battery saver mode and new Moto Assist-Downtime integration feature.

The Gospel Herald took note of Lollipop's arrival to first- and second-generation Moto G units. Despite the fact that Motorola has confirmed update to the latter, the source expressed getting "mixed reports that some don't have it."

Followers would remember that Motorola has long announced its list of supported devices. You may find its support site helpful.

IBT indicated in another article that HTC has announced Lollipop's arrival to the HTC One Mini. While users are eager to catch the OTA notice, the handset is now available for Android 5.0.2 upgrade through official nightly builds of CyanogenMod 12 ROM.

Those knowledgeable with flashing may download the firmware here.

The One Mini device must be verified for compatibility. The model number may be checked by going to Settings > About phone > Model Number. The handset must have at least 80% of battery during the download and installation processes, IBT reminded.

Another notable firmware comes from XDA developers, in the form of an all-new Liquid Smooth ROM. The build is specially designed for the HTC One M7, Motoringcrunch said.

The Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and HTC One M9 are the latest flagship devices born with Android 5.0 Lollipop under their hoods. The devices are unveiled in the first events of the ongoing Mobile World Congress.
