Apple's latest flagships, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, are currently offered under discounts that amount up to $160, the Inquisitr reported.

According to the outlet, the prices have been lowered in anticipation for the arrival of the new iPhone by September. Looking at previous reports, this iPhone looks to be the iPhone 6s.

Available through AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, the latest iPhones may be purchased for a $50 discount, a free charger worth $40 and plans worth $70, International Business Times noted.

While prospects could only be looking forward to see one new iPhone soon, recent reports claimed that three Apple smartphones are coming in the second half of 2015.

As told by MacRumors, the information comes from DigiTimes, which claimed that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus will be joined by a 4-inch iPhone model currently dubbed as the iPhone 6c. DigiTimes cited "industry sources" as root of details.

According to the report, supply for the iPhone 6s comes from Japan Display and LG, while supply for the iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 6c comes from Japan Display, LG and Sharp.

The devices are pegged to arrive with LTPS panels, NFC support, fingerprint scanners and Corning Gorilla Glass. In terms of processors, the 6s models are said to pack the latest A9 chips, while the 6c variant houses an A8 chip.

In January, the idea of a 4-inch iPhone 6 has been dismissed by reports, which claimed that Apple has not prepared production tasks for such model.

Aside from an A9 processor, the iPhone 6s is purported to pack a 20.7-megapixel IMX230 Exmor sensor, Touch ID and the latest Force Touch technology. Force Touch is already present in the Retina MacBook.

Expected iPhone 6s colors include silver, gold and space gray, though designer Martin Hajek recently rendered a color that looks to be the iPhone version of the rose gold Apple Watch.

With regards to camera, Trusted Reviews cited contrary rumors, which claimed of the possible retaining of an 8 MP shooter.

Much of the talks over the next iPhones' cameras have sprung from John Gruber's statement late in 2014.

Gruber shared over The Talk Show (Daring Fireball), "The specific thing I heard is that next year's camera might be the biggest camera jump ever."

"I don't even know what sense this makes, but I've heard that it's some kind of weird two-lens system where the back camera uses two lenses and it somehow takes it up into DSLR quality imagery," he added.

In terms of pricing, IBT cited reports in another article, which placed the iPhone 6s at a more affordable margin than the current flagship. At present, the iPhone 6 starts from $199.
