Too many things happened in this week's "Suicidal Tendencies" with Lyla and Diggle getting married and their hijacked honeymoon-turned-ARGUS-mission, Ra's Al Ghul turning Starling City against the Arrow, Arrow and Atom showdown, and a Deadshot flashback - it's too much to keep straight!

However, next week's "Public Enemies" will pull more action sequences as Comic Book spilled that it will involve a wild goose chase, with the Arrow team trying to stay one step of the police force that's hot on their trail; a critically injured Ray Palmer; and (spoiler alert!) Ra's Al Ghul's decision to kidnap Captain Lance, which could mean that the Devil's Head is pulling all stops to get Oliver to become the new Ra's.

Felicty's mother is also set to appear, which should make an interesting sub-plot, at the very least, considering what happened the last time she was seen earlier in the season.

The official synopsis (via ComicBookMovie) read:

"During an attack on the mayor's office, Ray (Brandon Routh) is critically injured. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is pleasantly surprised when her mother, Donna Smoak (guest star Charlotte Ross), shows up at the hospital to offer her support. With the SCPD out in full force looking for the assailant, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his team work hard to stay one step ahead of the police to find the man responsible. However, things come to a head when Ra's al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) kidnaps Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne)."

The International Business Times also noted that a new super villain is going to appear in the next two episodes, leading to an Arrow - Atom team-up that could help determine Ray Palmer's role as a superhero in Starling City.

Episode 19, which will be called "Broken Arrow" features meta-human Jake Simmons, who terrorizes what the Arrow has been trying to protect. However, he had to sign up the Atom on the team to help save the city.

In a separate report, Comic Book noted that the Atom will also be teaming with The Flash before the 19th episode of "Arrow" is set to air, and to get fans ready, someone is set to die, although the official synopsis does not indicate as to who it might be.

And in case you're wondering, it seems that Felicity will be fine, despite Maseo aiming an arrow at her head in the last episode - it looks like Ray will be the one to take the hit, although that still remains to be unconfirmed.

What do you think of the turn of events in "Arrow," are producers hurrying them up too much, or is the fast-paced, somewhat messy storytelling perfectly acceptable considering the number of characters involved in the series?
