Microsoft has released some early user statistics for the Xbox One in the month of November that provide some interesting insights into player behavior on the new console.

According to a post on the Xbox Wire, users of the Xbox One have already spent a huge amount of time on the console. In total, users have spent 50 million hours playing games on the Xbox One. Users have killed 3 billion zombies in Dead Rising 3 and killed over 186 million enemies in Ryse: Son of Rome. Players have also driven 90 million miles in Forza Motorsport 5, which amounts to traveling around the Earth 3,673 times. Players of Killer Instinct have pulled off 150 million combos since launch. Finally, players have earned 415 million gamerscore points on the new console, despite only being available to the public since Nov. 22.

These figures may be driven by the high demand for the Xbox One; most retailers have experienced shortages of the console. Despite this, IGN is reporting that the Xbox One managed to account for 31 percent of console sales during Black Friday, making it the most-popular console on the busiest shopping day of the year.

Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Marketing, commented about the success of the console in the month of November:

"We are humbled and gratified by the overwhelming response from our fans to the launch of Xbox One. Eleven days in we are seeing record breaking sales and are selling every Xbox One we can make. Demand is far exceeding supply in the 13 countries we've launched and we are sold out at retailers around the world. We are seeing incredible usage from our engaged fans who have purchased Xbox One with more than 50 million hours spent on Xbox One games and entertainment," Mehdi told Xbox Wire.

Microsoft also claimed that the company is working to ensure that the Xbox One gets shipped out as quickly as possible to different retailers during the holiday shopping season.

Look out for more news on the Xbox One right here as the console competes with Sony's PlayStation 4 for most popular next-gen system during the tail end of 2013.
