Becky G is one of the Mexican acts who will be performing in a special tribute concert for the late Jenni Rivera.

Billboard reported the news, saying that the Mexican-American songstress will perform alongside other artists such as Fidel Rueda and Banda Los Recoditos. The concert will be held in Rivera's native Long Beach, California.

The event titled "Jenni Vives" will happen on what would have been the late singer's 46th birthday, July 2, at the Marina Green Park, Billboard noted. Proceeds of the concert will go to the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation, which was spearheaded by the Diva de la Banda to help those who have been victimized by domestic abuse.

Rivera's eldest daughter, Chiquis, was the first performer to be announced for the tribute concert. According to Billboard, she is set to release her debut album focusing on banda music on June 2. Other artists for the special concert will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

For those who are interested, tickets for the Jenni Vive concert can be purchased here with a starting price from $25 up to $75.

Becky previously expressed her fondness for Mexican American artists such as the late Selena Quintanilla and Rivera. In a blog post titled "What Jenni Rivera Meant to Me" the 18-year-old wrote for Fusion, she explained how Rivera's significance in her life.

"I first was introduced to Jenni Rivera by my mom, Alejandra," Becky wrote after the Latina singer died in a plane crash on December 9, 2012. "That was her favorite Latina artist, so I grew up listening to her albums. I felt I had a special relationship with her because she was also Mexican American. She was a bit more relatable because it wasn't someone who lived all the way in Mexico; she grew up in L.A., the same way I did, and she kind of had the same hardships that I did growing up."

Becky's music video for her track "Lovin' So Hard" was released earlier this month. The video managed to confirm the rumored romance between the young artist and fellow singer Austin Mahone.

The video perfectly captures the sweetness of young love and even showcased Becky and Mahone, 19, strolling through Los Angeles snacking on fro-yo, playing in an arcade, hanging around in the studio, and enjoying themselves on a beach. At one point, Becky even wrote "A + B = <3" on the sand.

"Lovin' So Hard" is the single after Becky's "Can't Stop Dancin,' a separate report from Billboard wrote. The singer also recently attended People En Español's 50 Most Beautiful Gala in NYC on May 12, Twist Magazine reported.
