The Obama administration is once again turning to high-profile celebrities to help garner support for one of their campaigns. This time it's for Obamacare.

Starting on Wednesday, pop singer and People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" Adam Levine will be promoting enrollment in online health insurance exchanges as part of the president's social media campaign.

Other stars, who have also been enlisted to help kick off the campaign, include "That 70's Show" star Wilmer Valderrama, WNBA star Lisa Leslie, Fran Drescher of "The Nanny" and actor Kal Penn of the "Harold and Kumar" movie series.

The celebrity initiative is a do-over after the Affordable Care Act's Oct. 1 debut was defaced by website glitches. At the time, A-list stars like Lady Gaga, Amy Poehler, Nina Dobrev, Rosario Dawson, Sarah Silverman, Olivia Wilde, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Pearl Jam, Alyssa Milano and Kerry Washington were on board for the President's #getcovered campaign, reports Fox News. However, because of the Obamacare website roll-out's technical glitches, many of the stars who helped launch the initiative walked away.

Now, organizers are planning to use celebrity promotions and viral videos to inspire Americans to enroll. The goal is to generate 100 million Internet contacts before open enrollment closes on March 31.

"The idea is a drumbeat of dialogue, a drumbeat of discussion about coverage -- not about glitches, not about the politics, not about the pundits," said Peter Lee, the executive director of Covered California, to Bloomberg News.

"We don't think that, by seeing a tweet, suddenly millions of people will go get coverage," Anne Filipic, president of Enroll America, added. "Adam Levine's tweet helps us begin, and then we can have a substantive conservation about what's available."
