The star-studded cast of "X-Men: Apocalypse" graced the San Diego Comic-Con this weekend and the revelations were not short of exciting.

Finally, the mysterious four horsemen have been revealed and the members were quite a surprise.

Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Angel (Ben Hardy), and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) will be representing Famine, War, Pestilence, and Death.

This will be a unique line-up compared to the comics as each character indeed took part as horsemen but not at the same time.

According to Cinema Blend, Ben Hardy was the first confirmed Horseman when director Brian Singer shared some of Archangel's concept art.

Meanwhile, the other three were revealed by Oscar Isaac, who will play the role of the titular character Apocalypse, during SDCC 2015 when he was giving more information about the role he is playing.

The website further added that this version of Apocalypse is good at persuading other mutants to join his cause. He will be more cunning than the almighty professor X, as he will be more of a cult leader in the upcoming movie.

The story will be set 10 years after the events of "X-Men: Days of the Future Past". According to the director, the world will finally accept the mutants to the society but some remain who consider themselves anti-Mutants. Others will do the opposite and will worship them as gods.

Watch the powerful cast take the stage at San Diego Comic Con 2015 in the video below.

Hugh Jackman took the time to thank the fans of the franchise, Fox head Jim Gianopulos, and director Singer.

"Playing Wolverine is the greatest part I've ever had in my life," Jackman said according to Variety.

The cast of "Days of Future Past" are set to reprise their roles. James McAvoy will return to star as a now bald-looking Professor X. Jennifer Lawrence will as Mystique, Nicholas Holt as Beast, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Lana Condor as Jubilee, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Rose Bryne as Doctor Moira MacTaggert, Lucas Till as Havok, Tomas Lemarquis as Caliban, and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Meanwhile, here's the full trailer details courtesy of Screen Rant.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to hit movie theaters on May 27, 2016.
