George Lopez didn't hold himself back when it comes to criticizing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

During a performance at Arizona, Lopez declared that the U.S. "is better with Latinos in it," a statement which was met by cheers and enthusiasm from the crowd, The Hollywood Reporter wrote.

At one point, the comedian led the audience in a profanity-laced chant saying, "F*** that [Spanish slur]" directed at Trump, the news outlet noted.

Just recently, a report from Page Six claimed that Lopez is in negotiation with NBC to replace the real estate mogul as the host of "Celebrity Apprentice." However, a source confirmed that the TV host will not fill the position left behind by Trump.

The Wrap reported that there is "no truth" in regards to the rumors circulating around about Lopez's involvement with "Celebrity Apprentice," according to a source with knowledge of the search for a new host.

Lopez, 54, is known for his humor about Latino culture and racism in his stand-up comedy bits, The Wrap reported. The Mexican-American host also joked about the issues in his self-titled ABC TV series that aired from 2002 to 2007, and in his TBS talk show "Lopez Tonight."

On July 15, Lopez tweeted a response to the rumors of his "Celebrity Apprentice" casting. He wrote: "There's talk about me taking over the apprentice, instead of your fired? I'd say #VelesVerga." Daily Mail noted that the "velas verga" translates to "you're a d**k" in English.

"If he wins in 2016, he won't have to worry about immigration, we'll all go back," the comedian previously said, as quoted by Daily Mail. Lopez also retweeted a photo of a group of friends giving the middle finger to Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

Trump continues to be in hot water after his inflammatory remarks against Mexican immigrants, who he labeled as rapists, criminals, and drug dealers. In another statement, the business magnate claimed that his statements in his candidacy speech on June 16 are "deliberately distorted by the media," CBC reported.

He claimed that "tremendous infectious disease is pouring across the border" and that the U.S. has become "a dumping ground for Mexico" and "for many other parts of the world," CBC added.

Trump's comments cost him severed business relations, which included Macy's, NBC, Univision, Televisa, Ora TV, and PGA of America. The New York Yankees, however, refuse to cut ties with him because, according to the team's co-chairman Hank Steinbrenner, Trump is "a loyal friend and I am loyal to my friends," a separate report from Daily Mail noted.
