The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Moto X 2015 3rd Generation are two of the most anticipated phones on the market because they both promise fans and users with better and upgraded features.

But if we compare the two upcoming phones in especially terms of designs and other features, how do you think will they fair?

Below is a detailed comparison of the two in terms of their rumored specifications.

Design

TechTimes reported that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is a bigger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge which has a display of 5.7 inches.

"Instead of a deep curve on one side of the screen, the handset is said to have two shallow curves on each side," the report said.

According to The Verge, the Motorola phone may have a 5.2-inch display and a more rugged look.

Yibada added the Moto X 2015 model will have AMOLED screens with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution.

Release Date

The Samsung Galaxy device is believed to be officially unveiled on August 12 and not on the IFA event on September in Berlin.

Meanwhile, Motorola has yet to divulge details on the Moto X's release but fans are hoping that it will be announced during an upcoming event at the end of the month.

Processor and memory

The Verge claimed that the S6 Edge Plus can come with 32 GB of storage and will run on Android 5.1.1.

The new Moto X, on the other hand, is believed to run on a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset with 4GB of RAM.

Camera

According to VC Post, the next instalment of Motorola will have a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter.

The S6 Edge Plus is rumored to have a 16-megapixel rear shooter and 5-megapixel front cameras.

Price

The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is claimed to have the same price as that of the S6 Edge, which was about $1,000.

The Motorola phone, meanwhile is said to cost between $470 to $660.

Other features

GSM Arena detailed that Samsung's latest version of its flagship phone will come with an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, wireless charging, Smart Stay, OneDrive (115 GB cloud storage), active noise cancellation with dedicated mic as well as S-Voice natural language commands and dictation.

Meanwhile, the Moto X 2015 is said to retain the front facing speaker design, which was also seen in the first generation of Moto X," according to Yibada.

The upcoming Motorola phone will also reportedly have a USB Type C connector, a feature that will rank it among the high end phones in the market.
