For those who haven't seen Doctor Who Season 8, Netflix has just announced the show as part of their August 2015 lineup of new releases. American viewers will be able to watch the series on August 8, 2015 while viewers in Australia and New Zealand will be able to watch it beginning on August 31, 2015.

Anyone who is new to Doctor Who can catch up on the past seasons, all seven of which are carried by Netflix. Season 8 started on August 23, 2014 with Peter Capaldi making his first appearance as the Twelfth Doctor. The Christmas special 'Last Christmas' is also expected to be on Netflix starting August 8, 2015.

Hulu was actually the first United States-based subscription service to get streaming rights to Doctor Who Season 8. Hulu has announced plans to add the series to its list of shows on August 8, 2015, according to Fansided.

The same source claims that Hulu is the most complete source for Doctor Who streaming, because not only does it carry the past seven seasons of the show, it also contains a long list of classic Doctor Who episodes along with several documentaries, the recent miniseries, and several spinoffs.

For those fans who would rather see the new season than to re-watch the last one, Doctor Who Season 9 is set to premiere on September 19 on BBC One and BBC America.

The plot for the next season is so far a mystery but Peter Capaldi dropped some suggestions about what to do about the robots during an interview he gave at Comic-Con:

"We should either have some of them becoming Time Lords and somehow channeling it so that they have access to time and space," Capaldi said. "Or I think it would be good if we had 'Genesis of the Cybermen.' If we found the Doctor on Mondas itself in an adventure where he discovered the Cybermen actually being created."
