Yibada said that a number of laptops and PCs already started shipping with this technology and it's expected that more will follow suit this year.

More advanced specs are expected to be announced for the Surface Pro 4 in October.

DigiTimes also reported that despite demands for tablets weakening, 2-in-1 devices like the Surface Pro have potential in the market, which is why Microsoft has been aggressive in developing the Surface line of products.
