More than a month after the World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) fired him for allegedly releasing racist comments, veteran wrestler Hulk Hogan reveals that he has no ill feelings for the wrestling entertainment company.

In an interview with TMZ, Hulk Hogan said that he definitely has no hard feelings for the organization.

"The WWE is the best, no doubt," he said.

Asked repeatedly if he feels bad about his being erased from the pages of the WWE, Hogan said "No. I love those guys. That's my family."

In July, Hulk Hogan's contract with the WWE was terminated following the release of a tape recorded years ago where he could be heard uttering racist comments.

The professional wrestler was removed from the WWE website and was also taken off from the online Hall of Fame, noted People.

WWE maintained that they fired Hogan and that he did not resign. "WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (a.k.a. Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide," a statement from the company read.

This was, however, denied by the wrestler saying he actually resigned from the WWE.

In an exclusive report, Radar Online revealed that the wrestling icon made "a filthy bigoted attack, littered with the N-word and other disgusting racial insults."

He reportedly directed all these demeaning words at his daughter Brooke Ellen Bollea, whom he claimed was sleeping with a black man.

The wrestler already apologised for his words and actions saying it was not who he was.

"It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it and I apologize for having done it. This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise," Hogan added.

Aside from this revelation, Hulk Hogan also told TMZ that he is willing to be the running mate of presidential candidate Donald Trump.

"I wanna be Trump's running mate. Did you hear that? Vice President Hogan!" Hogan added.

New York Daily News tagged the duo as "the most politically incorrect political pairing ever" since Trump is also being criticized for his comments against Latino immigrants in the U.S. during a news conference at the Trump Tower in New York last June.

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending the best. They're sending people that have lots of problems and they're bringing those problems. They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime. They're rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they're telling us what we're getting," Trump said at the time.
