Margot Robbie recently opened up about wanting to shave her head just to land a role in "Z for Zachariah." The Australian actress admitted she was willing to lose her hair for the movie.

According to US Weekly, (via Australia's Sky News,) the actress recalls offering to shave off her head when the director asked her to dye her hair for the film. She admitted that she had offered to do anything that the director wanted just so she can get away from "being typecast."

"I had just finished 'The Wolf of Wall Street' and it was great to do something different," she told US Weekly.

Margot reporteldy also brought up filming for "Z for Zachariah" and on how she and her co-stars Chris Pine (Caleb) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Loomis) developed a close bond on set. According to Rotten Tomatoes the film only stars Robbie, Pine and Ejiofor as main casts so the three really bonded well during production in New Zealand.

"On Friday nights, we filled a bathtub with beers. We just hung out," Margot revealed to US Weekly as quoted by the Sky News report.

But the actress said that it was really Frosty, the dog in "Z for Zachariah," that she really got close to. Margot reportedly added that she and the dog would sleep together during filming.

Considering the post-apocalyptic theme of the movie, Robbie also admitted to US Weekly that she felt like she and her fellow casts were the only people left on earth during filming. It's believed they did not have any phone connection on the set since their film location in New Zealand was very remote.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, in "Z for Zachariah" Margot plays the role of Ann Burden, a woman who thought she was the only human being left alive on Earth in the wake of a nuclear tragedy. However, she meets a scientist (Chiwetel) and a miner (Pine). The two men compete for the love of Burden, who is believed to be the only woman left on Earth. The Craig Zobel directed drama received an 81 percent rating among critics in Rotten Tomatoes.

Margot was recently spotted in Toronto, Canada on Sunday as she makes her way through the airport to catch her flight back to Los Angeles. Filming for the 2016 DC film "Suicide Squad," where she plays Harley Quinn, has wrapped up, according to Daily Mail. In a photo shared by the site, the 25-year old could be seen hugging her fellow "Suicide Squad" members as she bids them farewell at the airport.

In David Ayer's "Suicide Squad," Margot plays as the former psychiatrist and deranged lover of The Joker (Jared Leto). She stars opposite another Australian star Jai Courtney and model Cara Delevingne to name a few.
