A man who is reportedly known for his bizarre actions was seriously injured after a deputy cop opened fire at him outside the WWE training center in Orlando on Monday.

TMZ said an Orange County Sheriff's deputy confronted the man identified as Armando Montalvo when things got heated prompting the policeman to fire at Montalvo at the WWE Performance Center.

In a report, ClickOrlando tagged the injured as someone "deranged" since he was seen in the parking lot of the facility holding a knife.

Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings noted that two deputies responded to the area around 1:30 pm after managers at the center reported that Montalvo trespassed the facility and that he was armed with a knife.

"He's been somewhat fixed on one of the wrestlers, one of the female wrestlers. They had most recently consulted with the Sheriff's Office to hire extra duty deputies to work off duty. However today there was not an off-duty deputy working," Demings told ClickOrlando.

Montalvo is reportedly in critical but stable condition because of his life-threatening injuries caused by the scuffle with the deputy identified as Cpl. Stephen Wahl, who was not injured during the incident.

"When the deputies encountered him they had their weapons drawn. At some point, the individual charged a deputy. The deputy retreated 75 to 100 feet backwards with his gun out and at some point the individual began to close in on him. He fired one shot and struck the individual. This all happened very quickly -- in a matter of seconds," explained the sheriff.

According to TMZ, this is not Montalvo's first violent act as a restraining order was already issued against him last month "after a string of violent run-ins at the facility."

He reportedly spread his feces and urine on the building at one time then posted a video of him mixing human waste and fat milk.

Aside from this, TMZ said Montalvo also showed up at the facility wearing a wrestling costume, banged the center's windows and swung a large chain on the employees.

Employees at the facility also claimed they were threatened by Montalvo for not hiring him.

"He was waving the chain, waving the chain telling the guy to 'come on, come on' and the cops came and took him down," said Juan Rodriguez, an employee of an establishment near the center, in a News 13 report.

However, Montalvo's friend, Elvis Kalicharan told ClickOrlando that his buddy never had ill intentions for anyone.

"He's just a silly little kid," Kalicharan said adding that the 29-year-old injured has a history of mental problems but said he is not capable of hurting anyone.
