Capcom has confirmed the pre-order release of downloadable costumes for the "Street Fighter V" characters in North America. The announcement also came with the reveal on the contents of the Collector's Edition.

Capcom on its official website happily announced that "Street Fighter V" enthusiasts in North America can now avail of the costume DLC for one of the game's four characters.  The exclusive alternate costume will reportedly be available during its launch on March 2016. Capcom on its website says the character costume varies depending on which retail store in North America it is purchased.

Gamers who pre-order "Street Fighter V" in Best Buy will reportedly get Cammy's "Mission Gear." A photo provided by the site shows the character in a new blue one-piece suit with a zipper half open at the front, as opposed to her usual green turtle-neck suit as seen in this photo shared by Sony's official PlayStation blog. She is also fully equipped with goggles on her unbraided hair, a backpack and a utility belt.

Game Stop buyer of "Street Fighter V" will get Ryu's "Battle Costume." The character's physical appearance is very distinguished in the character's alternate costume that Kotaku's Patricia Hernandez even called him "the hottest Ryu." This DLC costume for Ryu has him shirtless and sporting a full beard, as seen in the photo shared by Capcom. Some black clothing wraps around his fists instead of his usual red gloves, as seen in the character's promotional art for "Street Fighter V" on Shoryuken.com.

Chun-Li also gets an alternative costume DLC from the PlayStation Store. Capcom shared a photo of her "Battle Costume," which shows the character in a revealing black dress. "Street Fighter V" gamers who pre-order the game on Amazon will also get M. Bison's villainous black robe. This alternate costume for the dictator revealed by Capcom also shows him with a goatee and with a skull as his right shoulder pad.

Together with the costume DLC reveal, Capcom also announced the Collector's Edition for "Street Fighter V," which entitles gamers to an exclusive online beta access for pre-order purchase.  The Collector's Edition is said to be on sale in North America for a retail price of $99.99.

The package will reportedly contain the standard "Street Fighter V" game disc and a 10-inch statue of Ryu. According to Capcom the set will also include a hard cover 48-page artbook and DLC code cards for future downloadable contents.
