AT&T will reportedly carry the Lumia 940 and 940 XL and may start selling the devices in the first or second week of November, Nokia Power User reported. T-Mobile is also expected to carry the smartphones, but it may not be as soon as AT&T.

The tech giant is not exactly at the top when it comes to their mobile devices, but the company's introduction of Windows 10 could change all of that.

Microsoft is said to be planning big contributions to the tech industry, The REM wrote. However, the company reportedly suffered major drawbacks, which included a $7 billion worth of loss over the Nokia flop, as well as the termination of 7800 employees.

Now, Microsoft is hoping that the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL will turn things around and attract customers because of its "whole new concept of design" far different than its other smartphones, the news outlet further wrote. The handsets are expected to "change the way traditional market image about Microsoft made phones used to be," The REM added.
