There have been a lot of rumors surrounding Googles latest Nexus gadgets, and according to the International Business Times, it seems that the release date of the LG Nexus 5 (2015) and Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) are slated for the end of September, specifically, in a special launch event set for September 29.

Reports from CNET stated that the launch will unveil both Nexus models, already sporting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

This is the first time that Google partners with a Chinese smartphone maker, however, it has been noted that this will be very vital for their market considering that Huawei is still yet to become popular in western markets.

However, there could be a potential problem to this partnership. According to Phone Arena, Google Services like Google Play are not yet available in China and the phone users in the country rely on third-party app stores to personalize their phones. Among the said third-party app stores include Qihoo 360 and Baidu. However, the partnership may push the search engine in building their app store for their Chinese audience.

So what can be expected from Huawei's version of the Nexus?

The International Business Times noted that like the LG version, it is going to feature dual front speakers, a USB Type-C connector, and a fingerprint sensor. However, Huawei's version will be larger, with a 5.7 inch Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 810 chip, 3GB of RAM with a 64GB internal storage capacity and 3,500 mAh battery.

OnLeaks also managed to release some leaks, noting that Huawei's Nexus 6 (2015) is going to have a raised area on its back to house the camera. This area is said to be finished in black plastic, however, the renders showed a white version. While you think the bulge for the camera would make the phone considerably bulky, it is still surprisingly lightweight and looks smaller than expected, although it does, according to Forbes, ruin the otherwise sleek design.

Huawei's Nexus 6 (2015) will be the higher-end design of the two releases from Google which means that although the LG Nexus 5 (2015) is expected to cost around $350 to $450, the Huawei version will cost a whopping $100 more, burning around $450 to $550 in your pocket.

Of course Google still hasn't confirmed any of these rumors and neither did Huawei, so until the specs come from these companies, all rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. Or we can wait for September 29 to see what the fuss really is all about.

What do you think of the rumored specs for Huawei's Nexus 6 (2015) so far?
