Ryan Adams much-awaited '1989' cover album, a Taylor Swift inspired LP, finally released digitally on Monday. The talked-about record has the American singer's own rendition of the actress' 12 original tracks.

The song writer decided to do his own version of the 25-year-old pop crooner's hit songs with a touch of his own style, according to Rolling Stone. "It wasn't like I wanted to change them because they needed changing," he said.

The site added that the musician knew from the start that if he delivered the tunes from his own perspective using his own voice, "they would transform." "I thought, 'let me record 1989 like it was Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska,'" he added.

The poet is not afraid to renew the style of the original songs and willing to the change its keys and riffs, as noted by E! Online. The melodies became "something new" with its simplistic style and adjust tempos. Too, they also asserted that it became "as romantic as the original with an extra degree of grittiness" the fast tracks are easier to understand.

Moreover, Taylor herself can't stop gushing about the revival album. Her Twitter account is full of posts regarding Ryan's latest cover.

She, too, is excited just like many others and revealed: "Ryan's music helped shape my songwriting. This is surreal and dreamlike," as noted by Time. She even posted a meme photo of her pet cat with written: "Waiting Fur Ryan Adams 1989 Like," and captioned it with a countdown on its release: "3 hours 38 minutes [left]."

In fact, as cited by Cosmopolitan, the pop giant joined the producer to promote '1989' on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show via phone patch. Ryan revealed that he doesn't even know why he thought of "reviving" the whole LP. "This idea had existed since sometime around my birthday of last year. During that time I was going through sort of a difficult time in my life," he said.

To recall, the painter broke up with his strange wife, Mandy Moore, which resulted the latter to file for a divorce earlier this year, January, the said publication took note. The girlfriend of Calvin Harris, on the other hand, believed that Ryan's emotional state gave the album a different life and twist.

"They're not cover songs; they're like reimaginings of my songs. You can tell he was in a very different place emotionally than I was when I wrote them," she said. "There's this beautiful aching, longing, and sadness in this album that doesn't exist in the original," she added.
