Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy are back as "The Muppets" return on ABC as its new comedy series this fall. However, the much-loved puppet characters show will be in a different kind of flow and style.

Along with the two protagonists, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Animal and the rest of the gang will reprise their role for a new television adventure while running Miss Piggy's late night talk show. According to Times Telegram, the program will have its new concept revealing their "private lives" ala mockumentary style.

The television producer Bill Prady finally brought to television, after a decade, his kind of dream sitcom featuring the whole famous puppet characters when its owner, Walt Disney Co. eventually agreed, as reported by Vindy. However, the 55-year-old TV writer face the "threats" of the 1950s program's fans -- from his siblings to strangers.

Bill recalled that someone told him: "Listen, these were a very important part of my childhood, and if you do anything to screw it up, we'll never forgive you." And another almost warning him by saying: "'We're going to be watching. Best of luck!"

Moreover, Bill and his co-creator Bob Kushell described the reboot program as an "adult sitcom," as cited by NY Daily News. "I've gotten a lot of reaction. Mostly it's people saying, 'Don't screw it up,'" Bill said.

Too, the site added that the new version is "closer to the original vision" of the late Muppet creator Jim Henson. The known famous puppeteer saw the characters would more appeal to adult viewers more than kids. He even said that it is comparable to Walt Disney's "Snow White," which is an adult drama that attracts the kids.

Moreover, Vindy took note that on the show's debut, Miss Piggy has her late night show entitled, "Up Late With Miss Piggy," which composed of staffs that have their "own standard of professionalism." However, the program still attracts high-profile guests like Josh Groban, Laurence Fishburne and Reese Witherspoon, which enticed a documentary crew to film the whole team's life.

The will cover all of the characters daily life from Miss Piggy's tantrums, office romances of Kermit and his new girlfriend Denise, who's a marketing executive of the network and also a pig. They will also try to penetrate their off-cam lives like Frozzie, who met his human girlfriend's parents and slammed by "species-ism."

Meanwhile, NY Daily News wrote that Kermit the Frog play as the executive producer of Miss Piggy's show. He complainingly said: "My life is a bacon-wrapped hell on Earth."
