The LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P should be making their debut at the Google event which is to be held next week should rumors are to be believed. Both smartphones are expected to be pitted against each other once the devices have been officially unveiled.

While there is not much information as of now of both of these device's features, reports from Phandroid can compare both models based on the information that has been leaked. Based on the available information, the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P show great promise and can prove to be a force to be dealt with in the market.

LG Nexus 5X vs Huawei Nexus 6P: Processor

Based on the information given by Phandroid, the Nexus 5X offers 2GB of RAM. The LG smartphone is reportedly running on an ARM Qualcomm processor that has six cores with a speed of 1.44GHz. On the other hand, the Huawei Nexus 6P reportedly runs on Snapdragon 808 which is considered by many analysts to be a powerful chipset, and this was enough for the phone to score 1,310 and 4,431 for the single-core and multi-core tests.

LG Nexus 5X vs Huawei Nexus 6P: Design

In a report with Android Police, there have been leaked images of the LG Nexus 5X. The phone offers a simple and plain minimalist design with bezels that don't look very symmetrical. There is a fingerprint sensor that is placed right above the camera lens. The LG 5X will feature a 5.2-inch 1080 screen and will be offered in black, white, or an "ice green" color option. Like the Nexus 5, the 6P has a plain front design, going for simple features rather than focusing on aesthetics. The Huawei 6P will be available in Aluminum, Gold, White and Black. Unlike the 5X, the 6P's fingerprint scanner will be featured at the back. The Huawei Nexus will sport a larger display with a 5.7-inch screen.

Both phones would be officially unveiled at the Google event this coming September 29. Both phones offer fresh new looks for the Android phone market for 2015. The LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P are both expected to run on Android's latest OS, Marshmallow 6.0. It was stated in a previous report that the latest OS offering featured more stability and performance updates, with only a handful of particularly interesting new features, which includes Doze, a new power-saving mode that allows Android users to save power on their devices in which the phone uses motion detection to determine if the phone is not in use.
