A 16-year-old girl Syrian refugee with cerebral palsy had traveled for 20 straight days from her hometown Kobani to Europe to escape the worsening civil war on her home country. John Oliver, HBO's "Last Week Tonight's" host, was so touched by her story and made her a big surprise by reuniting her favorite stars to make her dreams come true.

In spite of being wheelchair bound, she managed to arrive in Germany and be reunited with her brother. Just like any other teenagers, Nageen Mustafa loves reality show, has big dreams and a very strong young lady at her age, according to ABC News.

Thinking what she had been through, the obstacles and the hardships are beyond unimaginable but she faced it with optimism and inner strength. She even had fun on her journey by saying it was funny.

"[It was] the first time I see the sea, [it was] beautiful when you're not in it," she told ABC News in English.

Moreover, on the Sunday night episode of the late-night talk show, the 38-year-old Emmy-winning writer showed an eye-opening video, which ran for 17 minutes about the Syrian refugee crisis, as reported by The Daily Beast.

He revealed the story of Nageen, who traveled along with her 25-year-old sister to find their older brother. She just didn't make her trip using a wheelchair but also served as the English translator of her fellow refugees.

She impressively talks near-perfect English with the help of her hobby watching her favorite TV show. She said that she learned the foreign language "at home with my favorite TV show "Days Of Our Lives with Sami and EJ. I love them both!"

"That's a great show. But they killed the main character that I loved!" Nageen told ABC News. "Nageen has been through enough," John said. And so, he decided to give her a big surprise to bring back "EJ" and "Sami" for just one night.

As noted by WSJ, the political commentator was moved by Nageen's love for the American television program and her "sadness over the death of her favorite character EJ DiMera." He decided to invite James Scott, who played the role of EJ, and his co-star Allison Sweeney, as Sami DiMera, to reunite for Nageen.

"Coming back from the dead, that's not hard. You know what's hard, getting from Syria to Germany," EJ told Sami when they were reunited on the show. Meanwhile, ABC News added that Nageen has been through a lot, including being detained in Slovenia for crossing the borderline illegally and transferring from one refugee camp to another to look for their place.
