The New York Comic Con is in full swing, and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" made a lot of buzz with a new viral video and no, it's not another teaser or trailer.

It's LexCorp's announcement for its new OS, the Lex/OS, the world's most secure and private operating system. Although Slash Film noted that this has already been teased in a Fortune interview, it is still quite interesting how DC Entertainment has used this to trigger a viral "Batman v Superman" marketing campaign.

The video comes at the heels of an interview with the vegan hipster billionaire, the 31-year-old Alexander Joseph Luthor Jr. (played by Jesse Eisenberg). In his Fortune profile piece, the young Luthor admitted, "Dad named the company after himself ten years before I made my unexpected entrance into his life. But investors seemed to respond to the idea of an adoring father building a legacy for his precious son. He used that to his advantage. It was a good shtick and whatever else he was, he was a good businessman."

But business is in their genes. Even though his father made the company, the younger Lex Luthor has pushed the company to its limits. He said about the Lex/OS tech, "We are on the cusp of unveiling a technology that will change the world forever. It's about safety. This is a product that will protect you, and everyone, from threats you don't even know about yet. I don't want to scare anybody... much. But there are a lot of threats out there, and they're here today."

The epic Lex/OS announcement did not just serve as NYCC's marketing for "Batman v Superman", it also advertised the free Wi-Fi at the convention, supposedly provided by LexCorp. Free portable charging devices have also been handed out, which is a good strategy considering how loyalty for both Batman and Superman might not stop fans from picking up their own portables, anyway.

In other "Batman v Superman" news from NYCC, DC Comics already launched new apparel and collectibles, and the Batman figure was labeled as "Knightmare Batman", which ComicBook.com noted may confirm the possibility of the movie's trailer being a dream sequence.

However, that will remain a theory until the studio confirms so, or until fans can catch the film in theaters. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will premiere in theaters on March 25, 2016.
