"Scandal" is back and Season 3 is heating up with even more chaotic twists and turns.

During the last episode, "Ride, Sally, Ride," Sally Langston dropped a bomb on the White House when she revealed that she is running for president against Fitz but she is not resigning her vice presidency, reports Celebrity Dirty Laundry. The situation will only intensify in the next installment of the popular political drama series, "We Do Not Touch the First Ladies," as Fitz is faced with the harsh truth.

According to Cinema Blend, it looks like Mellie is being set up to have a secret love affair with Fitz's running mate Governor Andrew Nichols. A preview video suggests that Olivia is not in favor of this situation when she tells the First Lady, "It has to stop."

Bellamy Young spoke to TVLine about her character's relationship with Andrew, teasing that the next episode will reveal "a lot more information not just about me and Andrew but also about Andrew in general." She went on hinting that viewers "could get some flashback-y storytelling goodness. There's a lot to learn and it's all fun. We did some reshoots on that, so I'm excited to learn about it with you and see how that all turned out."

In the meantime, it appears Quinn will be willing to do anything to prove that her place is at B613.

A promotional photo of the upcoming episode shows both the First Lady and the First Mistress in the same room wearing fancy dresses, however, neither one of them seem happy. Another picture shows the Gladiators hard at work on some kind of case involving a lot of photos.

The official synopsis reads: "Old feelings and jealousies arise at a Presidential event causing Fitz to face a harsh reality. Meanwhile, Quinn tries to prove herself to B613 and Leo Bergen sets up a meeting between Sally and an old friend."

"Scandal" will return with S3E12, "We Do Not Touch the First Ladies," on Thursday, March 6 on ABC.
