Police in Hope Mills, N.C. are asking for the public's help to find Danielle Locklear, 15, who went missing on March 11, when she was last seen by a family member.

Investigators on the case said she left home last Tuesday night saying she was going up the street to a friend's house, but she never got there, according to ABC Local.

"I want my baby to come home," said Locklear's mother, Rowna Fowler. "No one knows what a mother goes through. I'm feeling like my heart has been ripped out."

Police are considering every possibility in the case. "Every avenue is being investigated. Every lead is being pursued," said Hope Mills Police Chief Joel Acciardo.

Fowler said some of her clothing was found near a creek last Thursday, which is a popular hangout in the area. A task force from multiple agencies is working to find Locklear. Dozens of officials searched the creek area on Wednesday for clues.

"I am really scared. I want her to be found, but I am also preparing myself that she is not," said Locklear's friend Alexis McDowell. McDowell said she spoke with Locklear a few days before she went missing, and said she did not mention leaving home or running away for any reason.

The police on the case are asking for the public's help to help find Locklear. "Even if you think your information is not important, or you think someone may have already reported it, what you know, please contact us anyhow," said Acciardo.

Danielle's mother has not lost hope that her daughter will return.

"If you please know where my daughter is, any information, please tell her to come home," said Fowler. "Danielle, if you see this, please come home. I love you."

Locklear is described as 5'1 and 150 pounds. She is biracial-- half Native American and half caucasian-- and has black hair and green eyes.
