"The Big Bang Theory" will return in two weeks with an all-new episode in which Sheldon will cause more drama with the gang.

In the last installment of the popular TV series, Howard had a fiasco with diarrhea in Emily's bathroom back when the two went on a blind date together and Sheldon was confused about what to do with his future. One of the highlights from the episode was when he fell asleep with a geology book and began drunk-dialing Stephen Hawking.

In the upcoming episode, which is called "The Anything Can Happen Recurrence," Leonard will try to help Sheldon free his mind by reinstating "anything can happen Thursday."

A preview photo shows Sheldon visiting a psychic while Penny looks like she is about to crack up with laughter. CarterMatt predicts that Sheldon could be seeking out a psychic in order to figure out what he wants to do with his life next. In the meantime, it appears that Penny is there for a good laugh.

BroadwayWorld posted the official synopsis for "The Anything Can Happen Recurrence" which states: "When Sheldon tries to be spontaneous, it leads to unexpected friction between Penny, Amy and Bernadette. Meanwhile, Raj seeks Howard's help in preparing for a date with Emily."

Guest stars in the episode include Laura Spencer playing Emily and Kimberly Hebert Gregory as Ms. Davora.

While Penny has been invited to reprise her role in "Serial Ape-ist 2: Monkey See, Monkey Kill?," fans of "The Big Bang Theory" may get to witness the filming in Episode 23 since the CBS sitcom is casting a director who calls himself an "artist" who has been reduced to directing, reports TVLine.

"The Big Bang Theory" S7E21, "The Anything Can Happen Recurrence," will air on Thursday, April 24 at 8:00 p.m. EDT on CBS.
