Lil Kim has just been blessed with a baby girl and fittingly enough, the self-proclaimed "Queen of Rap" has given her daughter a very royal name. The 39-year-old gave birth on Monday, June 9 to her first daughter and named her daughter Royal Reign.

E! Online reports that the little girl was born 9:58 am at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. The little princess weighed 6 lbs, 5 ounces and measured 19.6 inches long.

Kim has made royalty the theme of her daughter from her baby shower to her name. E! News recalls the rapper's ultra-posh baby shower held last month to welcome Royal Reign. HollywoodLife.com reports that the shower can be described as "fit for a queen."

The pregnancy of the Queen Bee was only announced last February during MAC Cosmetics and The Blonds Fashion Week and it was only back in April when the iconic female rapper posted a photo of her shower invitation on Instagram. 

In the post, the hip-hop royalty wished everyone a Happy Easter and went on to share the news of her baby shower. The "Save The Date" invite pegged the shower's date to May 10, 2014 and told fans that the event was being orchestrated by David Tutera, a famed event planner. The invite was full-on pink with a diamond crown as the centerpiece and had other baby girl symbols decorated on the sides.

Lil Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Denise Jones, has yet to officially confirm the identity of Royal Reign's father but most insiders and outlets believe it's New-York based rapper, Mr. Papers.

The reports of Mr. Papers being Royal Reign's dad is also strengthened by the fact that Lil Kim arrived at the baby shower holding hands with him. The Daily Mail also recalls sources seeing Papers rubbing Kim's baby bump. The rapper even presented Kim with a bouquet of red roses and was seen looking extra dapper in terms of his wardrobe.

While this may be the first child of Kim and Papers together if ever, this is the second for Papers who already has a four-year-old son he refers too as "little prince."

Lil Kim has been very excited about this pregnancy and announced the same to Us Weekly a few months back. "I'm so excited! I'm a few months along, I can't wait to be a mom," said the artist. She continued that she may be a mom but she isn't planning on putting her career on hold.

"I'm still going to work," she tells Us. "I'm still going to be hardcore. The baby has made me even more of a beast!"
