With its most anticipated release on October 7, NBA 2K15 promises amazing visuals and player likeness presented in a very different gameplay experience.

In an interview with the International Digital Times, executive producer Sean O'Brien said that there is great control and improved foundation on the new installment of the game.

"Expect an onboarding process that will really wow you and teach you how to play the game. We're also staying true to our identity by connecting you to the pulse of the real NBA - all year long with an expanded connected feature set that continues to evolve on a daily basis throughout the NBA season," O'Brien added.

The three big things that greatly improve on Live 15, according to its executive producer, are the visuals, gameplay and onboarding. He noted that they are "doubling down on visuals" which will make the game look better.

Accoding to O'Brien, a brand new lightning approach was part of the "visual overhaul" they did to highlight the game's details like uniforms, crowds, courts and arenas.

"Without exaggeration, I can honestly say that every single asset has been touched for NBA LIVE 15," he noted.

For the gameplay, overall responsiveness and control was improved to make the action on the court "organic and seamless."

"We're committed to providing an amazing first impression as well as a deeper level of understanding of the controls and how they work to ensure that players have some early successes when first playing the game. We will reveal more about this later this summer," he added.

Aside from the visuals and other game highlights, EA also promised to have better-looking jerseys that will reveal even the smallest details like wrinkles and stitching.

Another feature anticipated by players is the additional six new faces of NBA ballers. Technology Tell reported that EA used a new facial scanning technology that started work right after the end of the NBA season.

EA's Peter Moore also told Technology Tell that their company is "committed" to its NBA franchise despite its obvious poor performance last year. The NBA Live 15 will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
