The Apple laptop now has a new release date, according to rumors. Previous reports and rumors suggest that the next generation MacBook Pro could be out by the fourth quarter of this year. But now, Christian Today claims that the release date for the highly buzzed laptop is actually earlier.

The outlet reports that the next generation MacBook Pro will be out by July 13 of this year following Best Buy's price cut of the tech giant's iPad Mini, iPad Air, MacBook Air and iMac. Christian Today quotes Tapscape, giving a rundown of the discounted prices:

11″ MacBook Air (1.40GHz/4GB/128GB) for $649.99

13″ MacBook Air (1.40GHz/4GB/128GB) for $749.99

21.5″ iMac (2.7GHz/8GB/1TB) for $1,048.99.

16GB Silver WiFi iPad mini with Retina display for $329.99

16GB Space Grey WiFi iPad mini with Retina display for $329.99

16GB Space Grey or Silver WiFI iPad Air for $399.99

Apple has not yet confirmed any release date for the MacBook Pro's newer version which has been rumored to roll out this year. It should also be noted that the discounted prices are in line with Best Buy's Back to School promotional offers, with its connection to Apple rather not established.

The MacBook Pro 2014 was earlier rumored for a Q4 release date, as tipped by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The Q4 release date is also reportedly more likely as production for the Intel chip rumored to be shipping with the device has allegedly faced delays, IT Pro said in an earlier report.

"Brian Krzanich, Intel's CEO, has promised that Broadwell devices will be ready in time for the Christmas holidays, but declined to be more specific," IT Pro reported.

A July MacBook Pro release date could mean that the device won't be fanless as rumored. The delayed 14nm Intel chip fueled rumors of a fanless MacBook Pro as most designs based on the new chip are reportedly ditching the cooling component. It is also unknown how the earlier release date fits with rumors that Apple will be releasing two new models of the iPhone - a 4.7-inch variant and a 5.5-inch variant.

According to speculations, the upcoming MacBook Pro could be available in an in-between-size of 12 inches and might ship with Thunderbolt 3 aka Alpine Ridge as noted by IT Pro, better performance and longer battery life courtesy of the alleged 14nm Intel chip and a possible interface refresh if it ships with the recently announced OS X Yosemite.

There is no news as to how much the MacBook Pro 2014 will cost but the current-generation 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro had a $199 price drop at Amazon and B&H Photo, says MacRumors in an earlier report.
