Someone has posted a first person mod for "GTA 5" and should Rockstar Games take gamers' reaction into account, it could very well ship out with the title's upcoming version.

Kotaku reports that YouTube user XBLToothPik has posted several videos, one posted below, of "GTA 5" being a first person game. According to CVG, the talented modder made use of a custom modded Xbox 360 to prompt a first person mode for the game.

With "GTA 5" essentially being a third person game, the mod will get gamers to journey Los Santos and Blaine County "through the eyes of its three heroes," as CVG puts it. The outlet adds that the impending PC release of GTA 5 will most probably pave way to "a huge volume of such mods."

Although it seems that most gamers can't wait to get their hands on a first person "Grand Theft Auto V" game, not everyone is looking forward to the mod. A comment from Lars K Tennyson reads, "No no no no no no. GTA being 3rd person is the primary reason I play it. Stop trying to change everything to 1st person. You're killing video games."

Whether or not Rockstar Games will be launching the upcoming next-gen and PC versions of "GTA 5" with a first person mod kit remains unknown. The same goes with the exact release date of the said versions of the game which was announced as a bleak Fall launch.

It was previously reported that the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of "Grand Theft Auto V" might just roll out October of this year. According to Game Space, the release date was found in an Amazon listing that has already been deleted as of this report.

Rockstar Games promised gamers a much better "GTA V" in the upcoming version saying:

"Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North's epic reimagining of Southern California."

The game was first launched for past gen consoles PS3 and Xbox 360 in September of 2013. According to The Fuse Joplin, the game sold over 11 million copies within 24 hours after its release and is one of the best-selling digitally-released PS3 title.
