After receiving mixed comments on the way he has decided to get his wife Paula Patton back through his "Get Her Back" music video, Robin Thicke made his intentions of reconciliation public again.

During his Sunday night performance, he played a brand new track entitled "Forever Love" over the piano and dedicated it especially to his actress wife Patton, reports LA Times.

The couple separated a few months back after rumors that Thicke was having extra marital affairs. The singer announced their separation during his show in Fairfax, VA in February. "For y'all that don't know me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman," the artist said in a video posted by TMZ.

Now, he has named his latest album after his wife, and seems to have dedicated all the songs in the record to Patton.

Before his BET Awards 2014 performance, Thicke made it sure that his message of reconciliation for his wife was clear. "I'd like to dedicate this song to my wife and say I miss you and I'm sorry and this is called 'Forever Love," he said to the audience before he started playing the piano.

Us Weekly even adds that one audience member noticed the 37-year-old artist appeared to be crying throughout the performance.

Robin Thicke's new album "Paula" is composed of 14 tracks which expresses how changed to get his wife back. SFGate writes that the record is also the artist's comeback to his R&B roots. In fact, the site's album review emphasized that even if Thicke fails to convince his wife Paula to get back with him, his old fans will surely be returning to their idol.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton have been together for almost ten years now. Their romantic story started way back as high school sweethearts. The couple's split announcement emerged after paparazzi photos of Thicke allegedly hanging out with other women started spreading online. This is aside from the racy performance he did with controversial artist Miley Cyrus for "Blurred Lines" during the MTV Video Music Awards.

As for Thicke's wife, Paula, she has remained mum about the separation, except for revealing quite a ton of information during her most recent Vanity Fair interview in May.

There are still no hints yet of whether Patton herself has intentions of getting back together with Thicke. But for now, maybe she still has enough time to listen to all the songs her hubby dedicated to her in the new "Paula" album set to be released on July 1.
