It seems that Microsoft is dead set on replicating the success of Nokia Lumia 520 with an alleged Lumia 530 release anytime soon.

Nokia and Microsoft have not yet officially announced a release date for the rumored device, says PC Advisor, but the outlet says that the Lumia 520 was announced at MWC last year. This year's Mobile World Congress has already passed and still, there isn't any news about the Lumia 530 to date. PC Advisor speculates that a release date for the Nokia Lumia 530 could be announced "any day now," after the device, along with the Lumia 635 and Lumia 930, has reportedly been leaked in May.

Just like the phone's release date, there is still no confirmed specs and features for the Windows phone but according to several sources, it could very well come with the following:

Windows Phone 8.1 OS

PC Advisor reports that the phone might run on the latest Windows Phone OS. If the rumor is true, users of the phone will be able to enjoy a myriad of features including Cortana, Windows Phone 8.1's version of Siri, personalization, photo apps, the ability to connect Windows devices, tons of apps and games and "an intuitive smartphone keyboard, intelligent storage, better data usage, a battery that lasts longer," among others, notes Microsoft.

Dual SIM Features

GSM Arena reports that the device, with model name RM-1020, was recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission. Although the certification did not reveal the alleged dual SIM capability of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 530, the "SIM 1" label reportedly gave it away, says GSM Arena.

Bigger Display

The Nokia Lumia 520 successor will reportedly measure 119.7 x 62.3mm, adds GSM Arena. The figures make the Lumia 520 and 530 the same size but the outlet notes that the screen for the upcoming phone will be slightly larger. Specifically, the Nokia Lumia 530 will allegedly ship with a 4.3-inch screen, a bit larger than the 520's 4-inch display. KpopStarz speculates that the resolution might be QHD - 960 x 540.

Snapdragon 200 + 512MB of RAM

According to KpopStarz in the same report, the Lumia 530 could come with a Snapdragon 200 chipset and 512MB of RAM. "While WP users can argue that 512MB still runs smooth in Windows Phone, of course it still limits the device in other areas apart from home transitions and animations," says the outlet.

Rear Camera Only

GSM Arena, in another report, says that the upcoming Windows Phone may not have a front snapper. Leaked images of the alleged phone suggest that the Lumia 530 may only have a rear-facing camera though no other detail has been rolled out regarding the snapper yet.

As for the phone's price, GSM Arena says that interested individuals may have to fork out $179 for a SIM-free unit. The price tag has not been confirmed, though.
