A new challenger has entered into the Kevin Love sweepstakes, making it that much harder for the Cleveland Cavaliers to secure their dreams of nailing down Love.

The Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers are now all pursuing Love. The Bulls have offered Taj Gibson, Jimmy Butler and other assets in an attempt to sway the Timberwolves into giving up Love.

While Gibson and Butler are proven players, their value could hardly be equated to Love's potential for star power. The Minnesota Timberwolves know that Love will leave next season no matter what. They have the choice to get something for him now, or wait and be left holding an empty bag.

Golden St. has been reluctant to let their young star Clay Thompson go. Thompson makes up an important part of the Warriors back court as being one of the two 'splash brothers.'

The Minnesota Timberwolves would be smart to take Cleveland's offer of Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a future first-round pick.

Wiggins will be underpaid for his first few seasons with limits to rookie contracts. Although he hasn't played a game yet, the media attention is already swirling around Wiggins, with curiosity as to what his future will be.

The Timberwolves would then have a lineup with plenty of young star power, taking the equation back to Kevin Garnet days.

The Cavaliers would rather keep Wiggins, but with multiple offers coming in from other teams, the competition seems stiff.

LeBron appears to be on the downswing of his career, and a wasted year of 'building' isn't in the cards. If the Cavaliers want to make an NBA Finals appearance, Love needs to be a part of the program. Wiggins may be gearing up to be a future star, but the Cav's are living in the now.

The Cavaliers are confident that when all is said and done they will have Kevin Love in their corner. For now, the Wolves are content to play mind games with the three offers, hoping to bluff for the best possible offer.

The Timberwolves may think they hold all the cards, but in reality they have to move Love in fear of being left with nothing. Fans will not be thrilled if the new management lets their superstar walk away with no return.

Look for Wiggins to be in a Timberwolves jersey by the start of the season. Love will eventually be dealt and Cleveland and their odds line in Vegas will boost up.

Place your bets while they're still 4:1 favorites.
