The rap goddess has stirred up a pot of fans and haters by releasing her controversial album artwork for her latest project, "Anaconda." The album cover features Minaj in a pink bikini top and G-string with her 'well endowed' backside being the main attractions.

Fans and critics had a lot of fun with the cover over the weekend, photo-shopping Minaj into famous paintings, as well as replacing the two "O's" in Google with her backside. Minaj took to Twitter and Instagram saying that she was not too fond of the joking memes.

Minaj announced that she would be pushing back the release date of her new single.

"My darlingz, I've pushed the release of Anaconda to next week, Monday 8/4. I promise you will understand why before the week is out. Loveeeeeeee uuuuuu" she typed.

It is still unclear why the release was pushed back. Speculators have cited that maybe the song wasn't finished, or perhaps that it needed some extra improvements.

Others claim that it has to do with the joking memes on the Internet that ticked Minaj off.

As a sort of consolation prize, Minaj released another flattering picture to instagram. Minaj is wearing the same pink bikini, but this time it is a frontal view rather than simply from behind.

Say what you will about the rap stars music, but what can't be denied is that Minaj has a killer body. We'll patiently wait for more music, and hopefully more pictures.
