The first trailer for television of the Christopher Nolan helmed film, "Interstellar," has been released, building up the anticipation of fans who have long waited for the movie's showing.

According to Screenrant, it did not present much difference from its theatrical sneak preview but it certainly depicted the film's plot clearly.

It features Hollywood A-listers Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway acting as space explorers set to save humankind from some ecological troubles the Earth is set to go through.

Screenrant sums of the plot stating that "there's an ecological crisis on a not-too-distant future version of Earth and it's up to a team of space explorers (led by Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway's characters) to save humankind by undertaking an ambitious mission to the stars. And by 'stars,' we mean beyond even the known solar system, via the use of 'a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel' (as the film's official logline puts it). "

The "Interstellar" television spot is packed with a lot of crying scenes from McConaughey and a great deal of intense moments from "Les Miserables" actress Anne Hathaway, MTV notes.

IndieWire emphasizes that the extended trailer boasts of "powerful imagery" that is a trademark for director Nolan.

In a report by FirstShowing.net, the screenplay for "Interstellar," written by director Nolan and his brother, Jonathan, is "based on scientific theories by Caltech astrophysicist Kip Thorne and follows a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vastdistances involved in an interstellar voyage."

It was during the recent Comic-Con this year that Nolan made his first appearance to promote the sci-fi drama movie. After he presented the first "Interstellar" movie trailer, the clip was eventually shared online for all to see.

The very first movie teaser featured Hans Zimmer's music playing dramatically on the background as the scenes build up McConaughey's character.

"Interstellar" will hit the big screen on November 7, 2014.
