Two of the hottest singers on the planet, Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea have collaborated on a new remix.

J.Lo's track titled "Booty" initially featured a guest verse from Pitbull, her 2014 World Cup co-singer, but an updated remix has just been released and this time it's with Aussie singer/rapper Iggy Azalea.

Daily Mail UK noted that this stellar move by the 44-year-old Latina is actually to draw attention on her new album, "A.K.A," which has slow sales. The site said that during its first month of release, the album sold less than 50,000.

Iggy Azalea was the perfect choice for a collaboration as the 23-year-old has got not just one, but three songs featured in the Billboard Hot 100.

Promoting the new track, the "On the Floor" singer tweeted a cover art featuring the two ladies looking all oiled-up donning sexy swimsuits and showing off their shapely behinds. They're both glistening goddesses with their hair down and sexy heels.

"#jlobooty #aintseenabootylikethissincejennyfromtheblock #jloiggybooty Click here: https://bit.ly/1pcK5Nw pic.twitter.com/jQQb0Yz7sY," the singer/ actress captioned the post.

The song has got a killer dance beat, having been produced by Diplo but the song's got some controversy linked to it.

Some believe that the track's beginning takes a not-so-subtle hit at Minaj: "They begging me to drop down on it but right now Iggy on the top/The last time the world seen a booty this good, it was Jenny from the block," rapped the "Fancy" singer.

While Nicki Minaj may be getting lots of buzz on her "Anaconda" stunts that show off her round booty, J.Lo won't be forgotten as Hollywood's original rounded bottom.

Also, Minaj and Azalea, being two of the biggest female names in rap these days haven't seen eye-to-eye lately. HollywoodLife reported how comments made by 31-year-old Minaj during the 2014 BET Awards were meant for Azalea.

"Nicki talked about artists not writing their own songs, so did she totally aim her shade at rising artist Iggy Azalea, 24, who is rumored to have ghostwriters on her songs?," posed the site. Nicki won the award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist and took the time to tell the world what she thought about artists who don't pen their own songs.

"But my point is, what I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is, that when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it," she commented.

Let's see how this all pans out. Listen to the remix below.
