5SoS fans were shocked at the news of Calum Hood's package making rounds online but it seems that the band member isn't too riled up about it.

"Least ya know what it looks like now," the 5 Seconds of Summer bassist said in a tweet. The cool response was followed by a much more serious take.

"I'm still just a teenage kid learning from mistakes :)" he said in another tweet.

According to Mail Online, a female fan posted the graphic Snaphat video on Vine after recording it through another mobile device.

"CALUMS D*** IM SCREAMING" the ecstatic fan wrote on Vine, as quoted by Mail Online.

The 5-second-long video shows the 5 Seconds of Summer band member slowly exposing his package by peeling away his clothes. The camera was angled in such a way that the video only showed his body, cropping his face.

The notifications received by the female fan, however, clearly show the sender's name, Calum Hood.

E Online noted that the band's Ashton Irwin sort of had a similar scandal the past week. 5 Seconds of Summer accepted their 2014 Teen Choice Awards surfboard trophy via a pre-recorded footage which had the band members donning only bath towels.

Irwin didn't exactly peel away his bath towel but according to E Online, "an unusual bulge" was present for all the world to see.

"Apparently I had a boner in the acceptance video..." he said.

"I love you guys, thanks for everything you do for us, fighting for us, following us, and supporting the music," he added.

Calum and Ashton's responses to their respective naked and almost-naked scandals, are a bit surprising, especially because they were not hesitant to discuss matters which are usually taboo. With young girls comprising a huge slice of 5 Seconds of Summer's fan base, addressing the issue is also quite a challenge.

It can be recalled that Dylan Sprouse from "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" also suffered the same fate as Calum. And just like the 5 Seconds of Summer band member, the former Disney star also dealt with the embarrassing issue in a cool manner.

"I'm proud of my progress in the gym, thought I looked hot and wanted to share it. I'm of the mindset that whoever you are, if you are proud of your body and want to show it off, so be it," he explained on his blog.
