The new addition to Dwyane Wade's shoe line is a pair of sneakers with fake blood splatter as its design.

Called "The Dexter's," the new shoe release is part of Wade's deal with Chinese apparel company Li Ning. TMZ said in a report that the shoe name got its inspiration from the gory Showtime series, "Dexter," which is about a Miami police forensics expert who moonlights as a serial slayer of lawless individuals.

The said series follows Dexter Morgan who is a blood spatter pattern expert of the Miami Metro police who, during the night, takes on an extremely opposite persona of a killer. It added that Morgan, compared to other serial killers, only slay those people who have done something wrong but were able to escape the hands of justice.

That explains the design of the shoes which Wade himself shared on Instagram with the caption #wow.

The photos of Wade also show that the words "Way of Wade" and "Dexter" were printed on the inside, on the shoe tongue. According to Bleacher Report, any Miami Heat fan who also loves watching Dexter would really die to own a pair of the basketballs star's new signature shoes.

A similar report of the Miami New Times said that the new kicks were made to cater mainly to people fascinated with the Miami pop culture since the eight-season "Dexter" which ended last year was shot in the Atlantic city.

Despite its widespread prominence on social media, there is still no word on when the shoes will be available and how much it will cost. But for those who are already eager to have a feel of Wade shoes, maybe you can settle for the red leopard print version which is already being sold online for $200.

Miami New Times added that Wade is not the first Miami Heat start who used a TV show as an inspiration for his sneaker collection. It noted that his teammate, LeBron James, has also released some shoes which were patterned on the TV series "Miami Vice" because of its teal and pink design.

Of course, the Miami New Times could not help but suggest brilliant ideas to other Miami Heat stars like Chris Bosh to also have their shoes patterned on TV shows like "The Scarface" which they said could have "pure white with a scar on the tongue."

Another one is "The Burn Notice" which should be all flames. The "CSI Miami" version, on the other hand, is seen to be an "orthopedic version" for aging individuals while "The Golden Girls" should be an "all-gold" and precious sneaker.

When the shoes hit the stores in the coming months, Miami and Wade fans will surely grab a pair of this "bloody" shoe which seems to be (based from the photos) a very comfortable pair of kicks.
