It's official -- Bethenny Frankel will return to Bravo's "Real Housewives of New York", four years after quitting the show.

She will join returning cast members Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan, according to a report from E! Online.

After leaving the reality show in 2010, which she first starred on in 2008, Frankel had her own Bravo spinoff "Bethenny's Getting Married?" and "Bethenny Ever After" which followed her marriage with businessman, Jason Hoppy.

The two eventually split in 2013 and have a 4-year old daughter named Bryn, according to the E! Online report. Frankel later on hosted a talk show called "Bethenny" but was canceled after only one season.

In a statement published on her own website, Frankel also confirmed her return to the reality show, stating that she maintained a good relationship with Bravo over the years.

"I have been through a long and arduous road since my departure, and I'm finally coming out on the other side. It finally feels right to go home again. The idea of doing the show feels exciting and refreshing, like it did at the beginning all those years ago. New faces, new circumstances, and in many ways, a new me and a new life," Frankel said.

"I am truly coming from 'a place of yes,' which is the only way to approach anything in life," she adds.

Fans of the show are excited about Frankel's return. Her announcement on her website gained positive feedback. User Heather Schroader comments, "I wasn't expecting to watch RHONY this season, until now!!! Cannot wait!! You are a inspiration and I love following you!!!"

Another fan commented, "Bethanny I couldn't be happier about your return to RHONY. The freshness and sincerity that you bring is much needed in the world. This gives me something to look forward to in the show. I am over the moon."

Controversies have been surrounding Frankel for a while now. One of which includes her estranged mother Bernadette Birk, who Frankel hasn't had contact with for more than a decade.

According to a report from International Business Times, Birk says that her daughter behaves differently behind the camera -- insisting that Frankel is snobby, arrogant, and a cheater. Birk also said that she knew from the start that Frankel's marriage would not last because of her alleged cheating history.

Birk added, "She had sex with her first serious boyfriend while in high school at 16 years old and she cheated on him about a year later. That is just how she is. She jumps from man to man," International Business Times quoted Frankel's mom.
