"The Fast and the Furious" franchise may have gone though a lot of heartache and challenges especially with the sudden passing of its lead star, Paul Walker. But now, the production team and cast are ready to move on from the tragedy as they gear up for the upcoming release of its newest installment, officially titled, "Furious 7."

A short teaser has been unveiled via Vine, and for fans of the late actor, this is your chance to see him laughing once more.

According to Screenrant, "Furious 7" wrapped up filming in July and through Facebook, the movie's official title and debut date of the trailer were announced.

A part of the long Facebook message reads:

"The road to FURIOUS 7 starts here.

Because of our fans, our saga has grown bigger and better with every chapter. In just 7 days, we will reveal the first trailer for our next installment - FURIOUS 7 - at The Road to Furious 7: Trailer Launch Event at Universal Studios in Los Angeles!"

IBTimes adds that the trailer's release date may be scheduled next month, a year after Paul Walker's death.

The lead actor died on November 30, 2013 as he was coming back from a charitable event along with a close pal, Roger Rodas. They were riding a Porsche car at a speed of 90mph and crashed on a suburban street.

What fans can expect from 'Furious 7'

James Wan, the director behind other hit films like "Conjuring" and "Saw" took control of the latest installment for the first time. In a report by Cinemablend, it was suggested that "Furious 7" might have a similar style of Wan's 2007 movie titled "Death Sentence."

Wan is also rumored to helm "Shazam" which is reported to star The Rock, one of the cast members in the latest "Fast and Furious" movie.

As for the movie's plot, it is speculated that Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, along with the rest of the gang are set to find Han's killer.

Aside from Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker, "Furious 7" also stars Jason Statham, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Elsa Pataky, Jordana Brewster, and a lot more.

"Furious 7" fans need to wait for the movie's April 3, 2015 release before they get to see how the production team was able to integrate Walker's brothers, who stood in for the late actor in some scenes.
