Skylanders: Swap Force has been a big hit for Blizzard with thousands spending countless hours playing with the characters both in the game and out of it with action figures. With dozens of different action figures to choose from, we're here to cut through the fat and reveal which figures will unlock every single part of the video game. Here's a guide to unlocking 100 percent of the content found in Skylanders: Swap Force.

Several areas of the levels found in the game are blocked by Element Gates, which can only be opened by characters who have that element. The Skylanders: Swap Force Starter Pack the game comes in has three figures with fire, water and life elements, covering three out of the eight for the price of $74.99. But that is not all users need to unlock areas in the game. Players must also unlock the eight powers available to the Swap Force characters. Of the eight powers, only two (Rocket and Climb) are available in the starter pack.

Translation: to cover all the content locked by Element gates and Swap Zones, players must buy a minimum of six additional action figures for $14.99 each. These figures are Rattle Shake, Magna Charge, Free Ranger, Hoot Loop, Stink Bomb and Rubble Rouser. However, Stink Bomb and Rubble Rouser are not yet available.

In addition to these toys, a Giants figure is also needed to access some of the treasure chests in the game. Any one of the characters available will do, but it will cost an additional $15 for the Giants figure.

Finally, two special edition sets of toys are needed to get some special levels in the game as well as new battle arenas for the two-player portion of the game. The Sheep Wreck Islands and Tower of Time Adventure Packs unlock two special levels in the game, but only the Tower of Time Adventure Pack is available at launch. The Fiery Forge Battle Pack is also available and gives players new battle arenas to check out in the game. Each of these three packs cost $24.99.

Grabbing these seven extra figures along with the three special packs in conjunction with the starter pack for Skylanders: Swap Force will unlock everything in the game.
