The tech giant is set to hold this year's Google I/O Conference on June 25 and 26. Although the event is mainly geared towards developers, most individuals are still highly anticipating what one of the biggest tech companies decides to roll out during the 2-day event.

According to Tech Crunch, Google will most likely focus on Android wear for this year's conference. The outlet notes that the company has made the beta version of the operating system specifically designed for wearables.

In fact, Tech Crunch says that Motorola and LG might just be unveiling the Moto 360 and LG G Watch at the event. If not, "we're almost guaranteed to hear more about these at I/O," the outlet adds.

Just a few days ago, CNet also broke the news that Samsung will allegedly unveil an Android Wear smartwatch at the Google I/O event, according to "people familiar with the matter." The outlet reports that the new smartwatch will be like the South Korean company's Galaxy Gear but will be run by Android Wear and Samsung's own chips.

Apart from Android Wear updates and possible smartwatch launch, Tech Crunch speculates that Google may also be announcing Android in the car. According to the outlet, a full-scale announcement is on the horizon for the Android-powered in-car system which already has car manufacturers like GM, Audi and Hyundai as partners.

Android in the home may also get updates, speculates The Verge, with Google most likely concentrating on home automation. In connection to Android@Home, Google I/O may also announce Android TV, adds The Verge. Tech Crunch speculates the same saying, "Android TV is reportedly more focused on content than apps and software, as opposed to Google TV."

Google's mobile OS could also be teased at this year's conference, says Tech Crunch, although an Android 5.0 launch is highly unlikely. The Verge reports, "The details are unclear, but signs are strong that we might see a UI overhaul that brings Google's web apps and Android apps closer together, an update rumored to be based on a design framework called 'Quantum Paper.'"

Finally, outlets are saying that Google Glass is at least bound to get some sort of update. The smartglass was launched a couple of years ago at the Google I/O. Since then, it has gone through several events like a one-day sale which sold out its Cloud variant, a partnership with Luxottica, being made available to anyone over 18 years old in the US for $1,500 and just recently, news of the wearable device coming to UK shores.

Google I/O 2014 starts June 25, 9:00 am with a keynote address. Click HERE to see the full schedule. A livestream of the event can be viewed HERE.
